About Trinity

Trinity High School is a Catholic, all-boys, college preparatory high school in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in 1953, the school incorporates the Catholic tradition of teaching and learning.

Trinity’s house system was established in 2001 to provide more opportunities for students to become engaged in the school community and to build closer relationships with their peers and teachers.

Every student is assigned to one of ten houses. Students remain in the same house for four years. Throughout the year, houses compete in various contests and activities to encourage unity and pride in their houses and Trinity.

The house system also encompasses student government. Student representatives from each house form a vibrant and responsive student government comprising 90 students elected by peers to serve each year.
